Baytown Township House Party
Under the red and green glow of her beautiful Christmas tree, we had a great event at the home of Judy Johnson in Baytown Township- just south of Stillwater. Neighbors, friends, and co-workers filled the living room to enjoy some holiday treats and meet Maureen.
When asked about Healthcare, Maureen described her experiences stating that, "I volunteered at the Fremont Community Clinic serving un- and under insured patients, I served in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina giving essential immunizations to survivors, and I traveled to Uganda to assistant in the formation of health insurance cooperatives with local dairy farmers- allowing them unprecedented health care coverage. I know the promise of healthcare, and the perils if we fail, in Congress I will work tirelessly to ensure that we enact reform and implement it correctly."
Thanks for hosting, Judy. With the Holidays just around the corner it is fantastic to know that people are so passionate about the campaign that they will take the time to make it out to these events.
