Maureen Reed for Congress

It was a dark and stormy night on Tuesday as we experienced the first true Minnesota snowfall of the year. That didn't deter Maureen or other battle-tested Minnesotans from congregating at a house party at another one of our ardent supporter's home. As the wind wailed outside, supporters showed that they were fired up for the road ahead, joining Maureen in a spirited discussion of policy and the challenging but promising path to victory over Michele Bachmann.

"I am so energized by this race I can hardly stand it," Maureen told to the roomful of eager participants, many of whom were medical professionals attracted to her expertise in health care. "Motivating me all day, every day, is the knowledge that we can, and must, defeat Bachmann to bring sensible leadership to the Sixth District. The importance of sending new representation to Congress is a matter of importance for people not only in the district, but across the state and nation as well."
