House Party at Becki Hafner and Jerry Fogarty's Home in Avon

At Becki Hafner and Jerry Fogarty's lovely farm home in the Avon hills northwest of St. Cloud, their friends and colleagues filed inside on a beautiful day to learn more about Maureen. Becki hosted the party and supports Maureen because, "I value Maureen's real world experience and I think that it's about time that we elect a female physician to Congress."

With a number of doctors and teachers in attendance, Maureen spoke about her medical experience at the Fremont Community Clinic in North Minneapolis, doing her medical training at a VA hospital, treating patients in New Orleans during the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and working at the I-35W bridge collapse site. She added, "There are so few doctors in Congress, only about a dozen. We need leaders in Congress with real world experience who can craft legislation that will cover everyone and cut costs; addressing the core issues of the health care crisis."
